Mobile Age

March 4, 2007

From cellphones to computers. WOW! Technology is ever changing.

Not so long ago, having a telephone at home was tough. Now, not having a cellphone is tougher.

The mobile age has come. Desktop to laptops, stereo to ipods, man, DOESN'T anyone stay still these days?

Tell you what, I am very surprised to see that more and more people are carrying these gadgets around all the time. The more surprising fact, MOST OF THEM ARE TEENAGERS.

God, the technology sector is really booming. An expanded market means a huge consumer base. Business must really be doing well. These innovations are simply amazing.

The Mobile age, WOW!

HEALTHY ADULT . . .

I'm not.

I have to be very honest. 280 pounds isn't normal except if you're Shaquille O'Neal. Even with a 6 Foot frame, I don't think my weight is normal. I don't look obese though, that's a point open for argument.

Not too long ago, I used to be a basketball player. Now, all I can be is either a team manager or a head coach.

How time flies . . . But really, being healthy is alot to ask for if you become an adult. Of course you have to take into consideration a lot of things before going to the gym. This is not an excuse, I know. But believe me, its tough.

When I was still in school, I asked my late father, "Dad, why don't you work out?" He gently replied, "That's why I'm cleaning the car and doing some household chores during the weekend. This is my exercise. I just couldn't find the time to walk in the park."

I didn't understand then, but I do now. The tough workplace environment forces us to neglect one basic aspect of life: HEALTH. I tell you guys, it ain't worth it. At my age, my blood pressure already reached 170/100. And with this in mind, I realized that I had to watch my diet and protect my health. What I would do to regain my healthy built.

Well, I'm working on it. It's going to be a challenge but I know I can do it. My motivation: of course, my family.

A healthy adult, I hope I can become . . .
