THE BOY WHO CRIED WOLF . . .

September 15, 2006

Ironic, isn't it?

Before the Iraq war, the credibility of U.S intelligence was never questioned. DOUBTED, but nevertheless, accepted.

Now, amidst the threat that can destabilize the entire Middle East, it would appear that everyone is willing to accept that the intelligence report was biased and it's ok for the world to wait.

Iraq was reported to have developed weapons of mass destruction. This was the reason for the U.S-led invasion. Now, Iran is developing nuclear weapons. This time, we are carefully processing the intelligence data for us not to commit any mistake. But, I do hope that the wolf will not come to bite us in the end.

One thing is for certain: It's a dangerous world out there. We all need to be vigilant and proactive. Otherwise, we might suffer the impact of a new world war . . . .

TEAM U.S.A

August 25, 2006

Dream team 1 was the strongest basketball team ever formed in the history of mankind. It was composed of legends. International basketball was never the same since the 1992 Barcelona Olympics.

14 Years later, the world has changed. Now, the United States are no longer feared. People soon realized, their athletes, were also human.

Dwayne, Lebron, Melo . . . Doesn't have the charisma of Magic, Bird and Jordan. NOT YET. But they are considered to be the future of the sport.

Watching the tournament unfold, US basketball supremacy is now a thing of the past. Everyone has caught up with them and their superiority has been severely challenged.

The game has evolved. Or should I say, the business color has overshadowed the love of the game. It would appear that the league has failed to develop their own homegrown talents.

Oh well. The NBA tried to please everyone in the globe. Now, they have to face facts.

They are no longer invincible . . .

TEAM U.S.A, no longer a dream.

Dreaming of Peace . . .

A ceasefire?

NAH! The Middle East is on the brink of chaos. There is violence everywhere. I am even suprised that  war hasn't erupted yet between Iran, Syria and Israel.

The battle rages on despite international calls for the cessation of violence.

One question: Everyone has chipped in to end the hostilities in Lebanon. But what about Iraq?

Oh well . . . That's global politics for you. Never dream of being stuck in the middle of the Euro-American Conflict. It's a deadly game.

Dreaming of peace . . .

Will the virus spread?

August 2, 2006

Hatred is a virus that can spread throughout the region.

Yes, this is reality.

The war in the Middle East has brought the region back 20 years ago. Although, let's face it: Little progress has been made through the decades.

The reason for this is hatred. Muslims hates the Jews. The Jews are fighting for their existence. The international community continuously intervene. And so on and so on . . .

Vis-a-vis, nothing has changed.

Everything boils down to hatred.

I don't think it will end. As long as nations insist that they have enemies regional security will be a dream up until a meteorite strikes the earth.

This is the global virus that plagues all of us.

It will just be a matter of time before we all destroy each other and realize that the cure is genocide . . .

HOW SAD!

Watch the attitude . . .

July 19, 2006

Television shows have changed over the years. It appears we are all caught up in a warp hole wherein rudeness is the "in" thing.

From the famous star search American Idol up to the corporate fable, "THE APPRENTICE", normal television series seems to be outdated.

I don't know if people just love watching individuals being embarassed and humiliated or we are experiencing our long lost love for the "THREE STOOGES."

Reality shows are a hit and action series, sitcoms, the likes are now a thing of the past.

Well, I am just tired of watching reality shows. The airwaves are bombarded by this. The only reality shows I love are CNN, BLOOMBERG & ESPN.

I pity those participants being ridiculed in front of the camera. They don't deserve the treatment they are getting. It's pathetic.

I do hope something change and I can once again watch real television shows.

Thank God for the internet. . . .

Watch the attitude!
